Ingredients

6 whole eggs

3/4 cup sugar

4 cups milk

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. Salt

1/8 tsp. nutmeg

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Rum (optional)


Ice Cream:

2 cups milk

2 cups cream

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. Salt

1/8 tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 tsp. Rum extract

Description

Thinner than traditional.

Directions

In a saucepan, combine eggs, sugar, milk, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.

Turn the heat on low. Cook, whisking frequently, on low until temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
Stir in vanilla and chill. Stir before serving.

Put a shot of rum in your cup, then pour in the eggnog.
