Ingredients

2 quarts water

Sauce pan

10-12 tea bags

1 cup sugar (for sweet tea)

2 quart pitcher or jar

Description

This recipe uses black tea bags.

Directions

Bring half your water to a boil. If you are making sweet tea, add the sugar and simmer until it is disdolved.

Turn off the heat and add your tea bags. Let the tea steep for 10 minutes.

Remove the tea bags, put the liquid in the container you are storing it in (*1) and top it off with the remaining water.

Serve over ice.

Notes

*If you are using a glass pitcher or jar, warm it with hot water first so it won’t crack when the hot water hits it.
